Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Utah is seeking a nursing program graduate to join our dialysis health care team as a trainee working toward licensure. You will work under the supervision of a licensed nurse to deliver safe, effective dialysis therapy and to obtain your nursing license within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities include patient care tasks, data recording, lab specimen handling, and ensuring clean, safe treatment environments.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited nursing program within the past 12 months.
• Must obtain nursing license within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Performs vascular access evaluation pre-treatment.
• Performs pre- and post-dialysis evaluation, weight and vital signs.
• Initiates dialysis treatment per orders, including QB and QD.
• Monitors patient response to dialysis therapy.
• Obtains vital signs before completion of treatment and documents.
• Cleans and disinfects dialysis machine surfaces and areas between treatments.
• Enters treatment data into designated clinical application.
• Obtains required lab specimens and prepares them for collection.
• Maintains a safe, clean work environment and supports team.
