Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a nursing program graduate to join the dialysis team. The role involves supervised patient care across hemodialysis sessions and requires obtaining an active nursing license within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited nursing program within the past 12 months.
• Required to obtain nursing license within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Performs vascular access evaluation pre-treatment.
• Performs and records Pre and Post dialysis evaluation, weight and vital signs.
• Performs vascular access cannulation and reports difficulties to nurse supervisor.
• Initiates dialysis treatment according to prescribed orders including QB and QD.
• Monitors patients’ response to dialysis therapy and documents accordingly.
• Obtains vital signs prior to reinfusion and discharge documentation.
• Documents patient treatment information in the health record and reports changes to supervisor.
