Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care seeks a graduate of an accredited nursing program to join the hemodialysis health care team. The role will provide safe dialysis therapy under direct supervision while working toward licensure within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited nursing program within the past 12 months.
• Must obtain nursing license within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Performs vascular access evaluation pre-treatment.
• Initiates dialysis treatment according to prescribed orders including blood flow (QB) and dialysate flow (QD).
• Monitors patients’ response to dialysis therapy.
• Documents information related to patient treatment in the patient health record.
• Obtains all prescribed laboratory testing and prepares specimens for collection.
