Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation in West Orange, NJ, is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for new graduates. The role involves night shifts (7PM-7:30AM), full-time schedules, and requires a valid RN license with BLS at hire. Compensation ranges from $46.00 to $61.93 per hour plus shift differential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Implement the assessment plan, evaluation, and follow-up of the plan of care for the patient population.
• Initiate ongoing systematic assessment of physical, emotional, social, educational, and functional needs of patients/families.
• Interpreting assessment data to develop a nursing care plan with goals and discharge planning.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team in rehabilitation goal setting and documentation.

Responsibilities

In collaboration with the physician and your preceptor, you will ensure implementation of the assessment plan, evaluation, and follow-up of the plan of care for the patient population.

• Initiating an ongoing systematic assessment of the physical, emotional, social, educational, and functional needs of the patients/families.
• Interpreting assessment data and information to develop a nursing care plan which contains problem identification, nursing diagnosis, nursing orders, approaches, interventions, short/long-term goals, and discharge planning.
• Participating as a productive member of the interdisciplinary team in assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of rehabilitation goals.
• Assuring that documents in the medical record are complete, factual, accurate, and timely.
