Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation in Chester, NJ is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) - New Graduate. You will implement assessments, evaluate plans, and collaborate with the care team to guide rehabilitation progress for our patient population.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited program for registered nursing.
• Valid State RN License is required.
• BLS required at hire.
• Must have flexibility of scheduling to complete the requirements of the program.

Responsibilities

• Initiating ongoing systematic assessment of physical, emotional, social, educational, and functional needs of patients/families.
• Develop a nursing care plan with identified problems, diagnoses, orders, interventions, and discharge planning.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to plan and evaluate rehabilitation goals.

Schedule: Full-Time, Days 7AM-7:30PM (Includes Weekday & Weekend Shifts)

Compensation: $46.00/Hour - $61.93/Hour + Shift Differential

In collaboration with the physician and your preceptor, you will ensure implementation of the assessment plan, evaluation, and follow-up of the plan of care for the patient population.

• Initiating an ongoing systematic assessment of the physical, emotional, social, educational, and functional needs of the patients/families.
• Interpreting assessment data and information to develop a nursing care plan which contains problem identification, nursing diagnosis, nursing orders, approaches, interventions, short/long-term goals, and discharge planning.
• Participating as a productive member of the interdisciplinary team in assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of rehabilitation goals.
• Assuring that documents in the medical record are complete, factual, accurate, and timely.
