Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care seeks a Registered Nurse applicant to join the hemodialysis team under supervision of a Staff RN, ensuring daily quality patient care in line with FMC policies. This role requires licensure within state timeframe.

You’ll supervise Patient Care Technicians, educate patients on ESRD, dialysis procedures, and treatment adherence, and participate in CQI activities while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited nursing program within the past 12 months.
• Must obtain nursing license and registration within state timelines, or within 90 days from hire date, whichever comes sooner.
• Current appropriate state Temporary Permit.
• Must meet the practice requirements in the state in which he or she is employed.

Responsibilities

• Directs Patient Care Technician’s provision of safe and effective delivery of chronic hemodialysis therapy.
• Delegates tasks to direct patient care staff including LVN/LPNs and Dialysis Assistants.
• Assesses daily patient care needs and develops appropriate patient care assignments.
• Routinely monitors patient care staff for techniques and adherence to procedures.
• Participates in staff training and orientation of new staff.
• Participates in required staff meetings.

Nursing program graduate (RN) within past 12 months
