Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a Registered Nurse applicant to join the dialysis health care team in our United States facility. The RN will work under supervision to ensure quality patient care daily in accordance with FMC policies and participate in compliance programs.

The role requires obtaining a nursing license within the timeframe specified by state regulations and/or within 90 days of hire. Responsibilities include supervising Patient Care Technicians, educating patients about ESRD

Qualifications

Must graduate from an accredited nursing program within the past 12 months.
Must obtain nursing license/registration within 90 days from hire date or per state regulations.
Current appropriate state temporary permit may be required during transition.

Responsibilities

Directs Patient Care Technician’s delivery of chronic hemodialysis therapy in compliance with facility policies and regulations.
Delegates tasks to direct care staff including LVN/LPNs and Dialysis Assistants.
Assesses daily patient care needs and assigns appropriate care responsibilities.
Monitors staff techniques and adherence to procedures; coordinates training and orientation.
Communicates patient-related issues to the Team Leader or physician; participates in CQI activities.
