Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in the United States seeks a Registered Nurse Applicant to join the hemodialysis health care team under the supervision of a Staff RN to ensure daily, quality patient care in line with FMCNA policies.

You will educate patients on ESRD, dialysis therapy, and related health conditions, participate in CQI activities, and document care while maintaining safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Must graduate from an accredited nursing program and obtain RN licensure within state regulations.
• Must obtain or have temporary permit if applicable within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to work as part of a hemodialysis health care team under supervision of Staff RN.

Responsibilities

• Directs delivery of chronic hemodialysis therapy in compliance with policies and regulations.
• Educates patients and families about ESRD, dialysis therapy, and related health conditions.
• Maintains documentation and participates in CQI activities.
• Maintains safety and cleanliness in the dialysis facility; adheres to emergency procedures.
• Collaborates with physicians and other health care team members to coordinate care.
