Job summary

HNTB Corporation is seeking an urban planning data analyst to gather and analyze data, develop reports and visuals, and support planning projects from concept through completion.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, with preference for a Master’s degree, and proficiency in GIS software and Microsoft Office. You will collaborate with inter-disciplinary teams and contribute to public participation efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Geography, Engineering, or related field.
• Master's degree in Urban Planning or related field preferred.
• Understanding GIS software and MS Office Suite advantageous.
• Ability to compile and summarize data for reports and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Researches and collects raw data, analyzes and reviews data for use in projects.
• Performs project analysis using technical guidance and software.
• Assists project team with development of maps, exhibits, presentation materials, and reporting.
• Contributes to planning studies and documentation from concept to completion.
• Maintains project records and assists in stakeholder/public participation processes.
