Job summary

HNTB Corporation is seeking a data-driven planning professional to apply planning strategies and analyze data for infrastructure projects. You will gather raw data, organize it, and create reports and visuals to support decisions from concept through completion.

The role requires GIS proficiency, strong data summarization skills, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to develop planning alternatives and prepare supporting documents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Urban Planning, Geography, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with GIS and data visualization.
• Ability to compile and summarize census and land use data.
• Assists planning projects from concept development through completion.

Responsibilities

• Researches and collects raw data, organizes, analyzes and reviews data for use in projects.
• Performs project analysis using technical guidance and software.
• Assists team with development of maps, exhibits, presentations, and reports.
• Develops conceptual planning alternatives for urban and transportation projects.
• Prepares plans, studies, and environmental documents for transportation projects.
• Participates in stakeholder and public involvement processes.
• Maintains project records and files.
