Job summary

HNTB Corporation seeks a planning-focused professional to apply planning strategies, gather and analyze data, and develop informative reporting and visuals. You will support planning projects from concept through completion, coordinate with interdisciplinary teams, and contribute to maps, exhibits, and presentations.

The role requires a BA/BS in Urban Planning or related field, with preferred master's degree, and experience in planning through internships or prior roles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Urban Planning, Geography, Engineering, or related field.
• Master's degree in Urban Planning or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Researches and collects raw data, organizes, analyzes and provides review of the data for use in projects and for further analysis.
• Assists project team members with various support tasks such as development of maps, exhibits, presentation materials, and reporting.
• Conducts research on issues, policies, and concepts pertaining to planning; assists in development of conceptual planning alternatives for urban and transportation planning projects.
• Performs tasks related to preparation and production of plans, studies, reports, and environmental documents for transportation and infrastructure projects.
• Assists in stakeholder and public participation process.
• Maintains records, collections and files related to specific projects.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
