Job summary

IMEG is seeking a Mechanical Engineering New Grad in Rogers, AR to design retail refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing and fire protection systems with a collaborative team. You will use AutoCAD, Revit, and other design tools, gaining hands-on experience, mentorship, and growth from day one.

Ideal candidates have a BS in Mechanical Engineering and internship experience; EIT is preferred. Responsibilities include assisting with designs, calculations, client interactions, and project execution while

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering is required or equivalent.
• Internship in building design consulting preferred.
• EIT certification preferred.
• Strong understanding of thermodynamics, psychrometrics, heat transfer and fluid mechanics as they relate to mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing and analyzing retail refrigeration and HVAC systems.
• Support with box-load calculations and equipment sizing to meet loads.
• Collaborate with clients to gather requirements and maintain relationships.
• Contribute to project planning, scheduling and execution to meet deadlines.
• Document design decisions and monitor project progress.
• Participate in quality control to ensure standards.
• Stay current with mechanical engineering trends and best practices.
• Prioritize safety and mitigate risks related to mechanical systems.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on integrated project solutions.
