Job summary

HNTB is seeking current or former interns for an engineering internship in the Rocky Hill, CT area. You will assist in production and modification of design calculations, technical reports, and drawings, supporting the project team through research, calculations, and design.

You will gain hands-on experience with MicroStation/AutoCAD and office software while contributing to various projects. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering is expected; master's preferred, EIT desired.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent required.
• Familiarity with design calculations and reports.
• Proficiency with MS Office and engineering software.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work within the schedule and hours.
• Supports preparation and modification of project reports, plans, designs, and calculations.
• Assists in preparation of project quantity and cost estimates.
• Assists engineering teams with organization and administrative support of design files.
• Supports engineering teams with data collection, field investigations, development and design tasks.
