Job summary

HNTB is seeking a capable engineer to assist in the production and modification of design calculations, technical reports, and engineering plans for multiple projects in New Jersey and beyond. You will work with the project team to apply design criteria and produce deliverables for the client.

The position is open to current or former HNTB interns only, with opportunities to develop technical skills in MicroStation/AutoCAD and to contribute to successful project delivery across a diverse

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
• Understanding of engineering principles relevant to the discipline.
• Familiarity with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD or similar software.
• Master's degree in Engineering is preferred.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification is preferred.
• Knowledgeable in MicroStation and/or AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work within the schedule and number of hours provided.
• Supports the preparation and modification of project reports, plans, designs, and calculations.
• Assists in the preparation of project quantity and cost estimates.
• Assists engineering teams with organization and administrative support of design files.
• Supports engineering teams with various tasks and duties including but not limited to research, data collection, field investigations, development, and design of projects.
• Performs other duties as assigned
