Job summary

IMEG, a leading engineering consultancy, is hiring an Electrical Engineering New Graduate in Rock Island, IL. You will work with experienced engineers to design, analyze, and implement electrical systems for buildings, with a focus on education, healthcare, and campus projects.

You will support project execution, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure client expectations are met while advancing energy-efficient design practices.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of design techniques, tools and concepts for technical plans and specifications.
• Familiar with lighting photometric calculation software and energy compliance tools; proficiency in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design and analysis of electrical systems, creating detailed designs and calculations.
• Interact with clients to gather requirements and communicate technical information clearly.
• Support project execution and scheduling to meet deadlines and objectives.
• Document design decisions and client instructions while tracking progress.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to develop practical, efficient solutions.
