IMEG Corp. is hiring an Electrical Engineering New Graduate in Chicago, IL to support design, analysis, and oversight of electrical systems in buildings. You will gain hands-on design, analysis, and project execution experience with mentorship from day one.

This entry-level role emphasizes project planning, client communication, and teamwork within IMEG's ESOP-owned culture and 100% employee-owned structure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering required.
• None required prior work experience.
• Knowledge of design techniques and technical plans.
• Strong analytical skills in circuit theory, electromagnetism, power and electronics.
• Familiar with lighting photometrics and energy compliance tools (AGI/ElumTools/ComCheck/Adobe/Bluebeam).
• Proficient with MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design and analysis of electrical systems using engineering software.
• Interact with clients to understand needs and communicate technical information.
• Support project planning and scheduling to meet deadlines.
• Document design decisions and client instructions; monitor progress.
• Analyze simple tasks and propose solutions with senior engineers.
• Participate in quality control to meet IMEG standards.
• Stay updated on industry trends and contribute to R&D efforts.
• Prioritize safety in all engineering activities.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions.
