Job summary

IMEG is hiring an Electrical Engineering New Graduate in Chicago, IL to support design, analysis, and implementation oversight of electrical systems in buildings. This entry-level role offers hands-on design, analysis, and project execution experience with mentorship and training from day one.

You will work on project planning, design documentation, client communication, and multidisciplinary coordination while meeting project goals and budgets.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Entry-level role with no prior experience required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Familiarity with building electrical design principles.
• Knowledge of BIM software is a plus.
• Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Willingness to travel up to 5%.

Responsibilities

• Assist design and analysis of electrical systems for buildings.
• Prepare designs, calculations, and specifications compliant with code and standards.
• Support project planning, scheduling, and client communications.
• Document design decisions and track project progress.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions.
