IMEG is seeking an Electrical Engineering New Graduate for a 100% employee-owned role in Rock Island, IL. You will work with experienced engineers on electrical system design, analysis, and project execution for healthcare and MEP markets, with mentorship and training from day one.

The position offers hands-on design, analysis, and documentation experience, opportunities to grow your expertise, and a path to professional licensure. Travel is up to 5%, and sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

BS degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

Assist in the design and analysis of electrical systems using engineering software and tools to produce detailed designs, specifications, and calculations in accordance with code requirements and IMEG standards.
Support consulting projects by assisting with project planning, scheduling, and execution to help meet deadlines, budgets, and client expectations.
Interact with clients to gather project requirements, communicate technical information, and build professional relationships.
Document design decisions and client instructions while monitoring project design progress.
Analyze low to medium complexity engineering tasks and collaborate with senior engineers and consultants to develop practical, efficient solutions.
Participate in IMEG quality control processes to help ensure designs and solutions meet IMEG standards, industry standards, and client requirements.
Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in electrical engineering, and contribute to research, development, and innovation efforts.
Prioritize safety in all aspects of engineering work by identifying and helping mitigate potential safety risks associated with electrical systems.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including other engineers, architects, and project managers, to deliver integrated solutions that meet project goals.
