Job summary

IMEG Corporation is recruiting a Civil Engineering New Graduate in Rock Island, IL to support engineering analysis, design, field inspections, report writing, permit applications, and site drainage and grading design. This entry‑level role offers hands-on design, analysis, and project execution experience, with mentorship, training, and growth opportunities from day one.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering or equivalent required.
• Prior internship in building design consulting preferred.
• EIT license preferred.
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist with engineering analysis, design, field inspections, and report writing.
• Prepare permit applications and support site drainage and grading designs.
• Perform basic calculations including hydraulic, traffic, piling, rebar, and earthwork balance.
• Assist in designing water and sewer systems for municipal and private clients.
• Assist with grading and stormwater designs for various site plans.
• Gather project requirements and communicate technical information to clients.
• Support project execution, scheduling, and design documentation while monitoring progress.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to develop practical solutions.
