Job summary

Qualifications

• RN license required with 90 days to obtain registration.
• Experience in dialysis or nephrology is preferred.
• Ability to educate patients and coordinate care with the healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Directs Patient Care Technician's provision of dialysis therapy to patients.
• Assesses daily patient care needs and assigns care accordingly.
• Educates patients on ESRD, dialysis, diet, and medications.
• Documents patient care and treatment in the Medical Information System.
• Participates in CQI activities and staff meetings.
• Responds to emergencies and maintains safety standards.
