Job summary

VEG ER for Pets is seeking aspiring New ER Doctors (NERDs) to join a six-month immersive program that transitions veterinarians into VEG ER doctors. Participants receive hands-on ER experience, mentorship, and intensive clinical training at VEG's state-of-the-art facilities.

During the program, compensation runs at $120k per year with a pathway to increased base pay and production post-program, plus comprehensive benefits and CE opportunities designed to accelerate your growth in emergency

Qualifications

• Must hold a DVM, VMD, or equivalent degree.
• Practicing veterinarian for 1+ years.
• Passion for emergency medicine and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Work side-by-side with experienced VEG doctors who will mentor you through real ER cases, offering guidance and feedback.
• New ER Doctors (a.k.a. NERDS!) get up-close, firsthand ER experience, working 3-4 hospital shifts per week (days, swings, and nights), as well as through weekly case discussions, literature reviews, and hands-on training at state-of-the-art facilities.
• Learn best practices for client-centered communication and care, the VEG Way.
