Job summary

Essenti Talent in Richmond, VA is seeking a New-Construction Operations Manager to lead branch operations, sales and production for residential custom home projects. The ideal candidate has deep knowledge of custom residential construction, experience with production building, and a servant-leader management style to drive teams.

Key duties include reviewing leads, budgets, pipelines, contracts, and vendor coordination; supervising employees and subs; overseeing P&L and customer resolutions.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of custom residential construction.
• Experience with production building (multiple homes).
• Servant-leader management style.
• Familiar with South Richmond VA vendors and subs.
• Ability to review leads, budgets, and sales pipeline.
• Willingness to recruit, hire, train and supervise staff and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Review new leads with Sales Team.
• Review advertising and approve budget.
• Updates with Division President weekly.
• Review sales pipeline, contracts, Starts, Warranty, Settlements, etc.
• Plan reviews and final review meetings.
• Recruit/hire/train/mentor/supervise employees, subs and vendors.
• Networking expertise.
• Negotiate contracts & Hire subs and suppliers.
• Review overhead costs and general P&L.
• Address customer concerns & communicate resolutions.
