The role requires reading drawings, performing take-offs, obtaining subcontractor quotes, and coordinating with project management to ensure bid requirements reflect design intent, with standard overtime expectations.

Qualifications

• Read blueprints and architectural drawings to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates.
• Proficient in Excel and Word; perform take-offs and obtain subcontractor quotes when needed.
• Must be able to communicate with project management to align bid requirements with design intent.

Responsibilities

• Analyze documents to prepare estimates for construction bids or change orders.
• Perform take-offs of steel/mechanical equipment and enter data into estimating software; secure quotes as required.
• Apply labor rates and hours per project guidelines; prepare ATPs/Change Orders for customers.
