Job summary

Grubbs Volvo Cars Grapevine is seeking a New Car Sales Director to run our new vehicle department. This role carries department ownership with real authority over volume, gross, inventory, desking, and the development of the people who drive all three.

You will own desking, inventory, process, and people. Sales team pay plans are set by the General Manager, with input from you, but not unilateral authority.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in dealership sales management, including at least 2 years in a GM/sales director/desk manager role.
• Ability to manage inventory, desking, and process with data-driven approach.
• Proven ability to develop people and drive performance.

Responsibilities

• Own new vehicle volume against factory objective, monthly and yearly.
• Manage new vehicle gross – front and back, with F&I on PVR.
• Oversee desking and deal structure with full authority and math oversight.
• Oversee inventory stocking, ordering, allocation, aged unit policy, and floorplan expense.
• Manage Volvo factory programs – incentives, allocation, certification, scorecard performance.
• Lead sales team development: one-on-ones, ride-alongs, training cadence.
