Koons Tysons CDJR is seeking an energetic New Car Buyer to evaluate the market and secure a steady stream of inventory. You will buy vehicles through service lanes, auctions, rentals, and direct purchases, while maintaining stock and building sources to optimize assortment and profitability.

The role requires prior used-vehicle buying experience, tech-savvy mindset, and a drive to innovate within a fast-paced automotive environment.

Koons Tysons CDJR needs an experienced New Car Buyer who can evaluate the market and provide a constant flow of fresh inventory.

• Buys vehicles via Service lane, direct purchase, "off the street", rental fleets and auctions
• Maintains vehicle inventory. Monitors customer’s likes and dislikes, lost sales, and dealership sales history and conducts local market analyses to determine which vehicles to stock.
• Establishes and controls wholesaling activities.
• Develops and maintains outside sources (wholesalers and retailers) for buying units.
• Must be tech savvy and innovative.
• Prior experience buying used vehicles is required.
