What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Research and identify potential school and district partners through outbound calls, emails, and social media outreach
- Qualify prospects by understanding their needs and setting up appointments for Account Managers
- Establish rapport with educators and administrators to highlight the value of Scholastic Reading Events
- Maintain accurate sales records in the CRM system and track progress toward goals
- Collaborate with the sales team to improve lead generation efficiency and stay informed about industry trends

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or related field
- Minimum of three (3) years of proven successful sales experience in retail or territory sales, event management, or customer service
- Proficiency with MS Office software and experience with Sales Automation or CRM software
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation abilities
- Outstanding interpersonal and relationship-building skills
