What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Research and identify potential school and district partners, initiating outreach through calls, emails, and social media
- Qualify leads by understanding the needs and interests of prospects and setting up appointments for Account Managers
- Establish rapport with educators and administrators to promote the value of Scholastic Reading Events
- Maintain accurate records of interactions and progress toward monthly and quarterly sales goals in the CRM system
- Collaborate with the sales team to enhance lead generation strategies and stay informed on industry trends

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum of three (3) years of successful sales experience in retail, territory sales, event management, or customer service
- Proficiency with MS Office and experience with Sales Automation or Customer Relationship Management software
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation abilities
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships both internally and externally

- Familiarity with children’s literature, Book Fairs, and school activities
- Proven leadership abilities demonstrated in previous roles
