Job Description

Chamberlain Group is a global leader in access solutions with top brands such as LiftMaster and Chamberlain, found in millions of homes, businesses, and communities worldwide.

As a leader in the Smart Home industry, we boast one of the largest IoT install bases, with innovative products including cameras, locks, card readers, garage door openers, gates, and more, all powered by our myQ digital ecosystem.

This role is within Chamberlain Group's Sales function. A successful candidate is expected to: (i) acquire new security distributors to build out Chamberlain Group's access control strategy for the Community and Facility end-user segments; (ii) build product awareness, adoption, and sales growth in the security distribution channel through regular engagement with dealers and prospects; (iii) support dealer engagement initiatives with segment end users in collaboration with Chamberlain Group's New Business Development and National Integrator teams. Requires 5+ years of relevant work experience, with a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.

Job Responsibilities:
  1. Acquire new security distributors to build out Chamberlain Group's access control strategy for the Community and Facility end-user segments
  2. Build product awareness, adoption, and sales growth in the security distribution channel through regular engagement with dealers and prospects
  3. Support dealer engagement initiatives with segment end users in collaboration with Chamberlain Group's New Business Development team and National Integrator team
  4. Represent Chamberlain Group at industry trade shows, councils, and networking events
  5. Facilitate training for distributor sales teams, specifications teams, their dealers, and Chamberlain Group's direct dealers
  6. Support implementation of go-to-market strategies developed by product marketing, engineering, business development, and new product development teams to ensure successful new product deployment
  7. Build competitive product knowledge to help position the value of Chamberlain Group's portfolio and expand market positioning; regularly train, consult, and mentor others
  8. Track and record all distribution activities and sales opportunities in SalesForce
  9. Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should ensure team compliance
  10. Protect Chamberlain Group's reputation by maintaining confidentiality of information
  11. Maintain professional and technical knowledge through workshops, publications, networking, and professional societies
  12. Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results and participating in projects as needed
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Communications, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience
  • Knowledge of access control and system integrator spaces
  • Ability to travel up to 70% domestically and internationally; valid driver's license
  • Preferred: Master's Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or Communications
  • Preferred: Experience in the Security or Access Control Industry
  • Preferred: Proficiency in sales systems, mechanical aptitude, consultative selling, electrical engineering

The pay range for this position is $73,400.00 - $118,175.00. Base pay may vary depending on factors including the position, location, education, training, and experience. In addition to base pay, a comprehensive benefits package and 401k contribution are offered (benefits subject to eligibility). This position is eligible for participation in a short-term incentive plan according to applicable plans and policies.
