Job summary

Yamad is seeking a Sales Coordinator on 1st shift to support NBE sales initiatives and help manage customer information and responses for new business.

In this role you will collaborate with the Japan Sales Group, production and purchasing to shape pricing strategies, develop quotations, and expand the customer base through proactive visits and quotations management. Strong communication and bilingual English/Japanese skills are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field or equivalent level of education and experience in a related field preferred.
• This position requires experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience within Japanese manufacturing organization highly desired.
• Proficient in negotiation, presentation, interpersonal and communication skills; MS Office proficiency; bilingual English/Japanese preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in promotion of new business development and sales strategy activities.
• Work closely with Japan Sales Group and internal Production Engineering/Purchasing Departments to assist in determining pricing strategies; assist in evaluating internal production cost calculations and understand core elements for quotations.
• Assist NBE Sales Assistant Mgr to develop quotations and quote revisions, present to manager for approval; submit to, explain to and negotiate with customers.
• Assist with preparation of NBE sales forecasts for presentation to upper management.
• Participate actively in New Model Review Meetings; communicate NBE related information internally and to customers.
• Visit customers & prospective customers on a regular basis to gather information and develop business relationship with the end goal of expanding new business.
• Assist with management of receipt and execution of PO's for prototypes, trial parts and overseas orders; assist in coordination of special trial orders for customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
