Job summary

EMERGE is seeking a New Business Intake (NBI) Coordinator to support a nationally recognized AmLaw 100 law firm. This role offers remote or hybrid work options for candidates near firm offices, with flexible scheduling across time zones.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and experienced in conflicts checks, new matter intake, and research. You will safeguard confidentiality while ensuring accurate matter openings and timely processing.

Qualifications

1+ years of experience in new business intake or conflicts within a law firm.
Experience conducting conflicts checks and supporting new client and matter intake.
Familiarity with conflicts databases, new matter intake systems, and legal workflow software.
Strong research, analytical, and communication skills with handling confidential information.

Responsibilities

Conduct detailed conflict of interest searches and prepare comprehensive reports.
Research clients, related entities, and potential conflicts using internal databases and external resources.
Review new business intake requests for accuracy and completeness.
Coordinate with attorneys and legal teams regarding matter openings and updates.
Monitor daily workflow, prioritize requests, and meet deadlines.
Maintain confidentiality and follow intake policies across the firm.
