Americo Life, Inc. is seeking a New Business Associate I to join our growing New Business team in downtown Kansas City, MO. This full-time on-site role supports processing life and annuity applications and coordinating with internal departments and agents.

The position emphasizes accuracy, adherence to deadlines, and the ability to learn new systems, with a comprehensive training program and opportunities for growth within a long-standing life insurance company.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented with strong attention to accuracy and deadlines.
• Ability to prioritize tasks with competing deadlines.
• Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Preferred: experience in insurance, financial services, or new business processing.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process work via telephone, email, and other electronic methods.
• Index and submit application data into AWD, APNG, NBU, and NBUW systems.
• Review applications, make decisions, and take appropriate actions to issue, close, and process funding sources within service standards.
• Communicate with agents during routine policy processing.
• Handle internal phone inquiries from agent and client-facing departments.
• Assist with additional departmental needs, including reporting, quality reviews, testing, and special projects.
