Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, with at least one year of experience in a financial institution, customer service, sales, or operations role.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and coworkers in writing and speech.
• Working knowledge of banking operations and basic math to balance accounts and handle cash.

Responsibilities

• Open, maintain, and service consumer deposit accounts, including checking, savings, CDs, and IRAs.
• Guide customers through account options and recommend banking products and services that meet their needs.
• Build strong customer relationships by providing responsive, knowledgeable, and personalized service.
• Accurately process account transactions and maintain customer records in line with bank policies.
• Perform teller transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and cash handling.
• Process check orders, assist with safe deposit box access, and coordinate referrals to banking specialists.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and bank policies while safeguarding customer information.
