Job summary

Oak Valley Community Bank in Sonora, CA is seeking a New Accounts Representative to join our Retail Banking Group. You will open and service consumer deposit accounts, guide customers through options, and build lasting relationships while delivering friendly, accurate service in a branch setting.

This full-time role offers a base hourly pay range of $20.67 to $28.85, with eligibility for quarterly incentives and potential annual raises, plus a comprehensive benefits package and retirement plan;

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, with at least one year of experience in a financial institution, customer service, sales, or operations.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities in writing and speech.
• Working knowledge of basic banking operations and math.

Responsibilities

• Open, maintain, and service consumer deposit accounts, including checking, savings, CDs, and IRAs.
• Guide customers through account options and recommend banking products and services.
• Build strong customer relationships with responsive, knowledgeable service.
• Process account transactions and maintain customer records per policies.
• Perform teller transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and cash handling.
• Process check orders and coordinate referrals to banking specialists.
