Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two or more years in bank operations, new accounts, or credit assistant/loan roles.
• Knowledge of banking products for consumers and small business.

Responsibilities

• Greet new customers and interview to explain services.
• Discuss account limits, requirements, and fees with customers.
• Refer customers to other bank areas for additional services.
• Promote cross-selling and build relationships with clients.
• Collect initial deposits and process account openings.
• Order checks and debit cards; manage safe deposit boxes
• Maintain confidential client records and comply with laws
• Assist with loan applications and forwarding to appropriate department
• Complete Chex Systems verification on new accounts
• Support CRA activities and potential branch coverage
• Travel to other branches as needed
