Job summary

Talentify is seeking a friendly teller to primarily open new accounts and provide daily banking services. You will handle deposits, withdrawals, payments, and greet customers while maintaining accuracy and security.

Responsibilities include cross-selling bank products, maintaining cash drawers, balancing cash, and complying with BSA and other regulations. Prior banking or cash-handling experience is a plus; strong English communication and reliable attendance are essential.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• Prior Banking experience is a plus.
• Cash handling and customer service experience preferred.
• Basic math skills required; PC and typing skills required.
• Attention to detail required.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English; strong communication skills.
• Ability to operate teller and office equipment including computers, calculators/adding machines, telephones, etc.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily deposit services and related transactions.
• Maintain cash drawer within prescribed limits; interact with vault as needed.
• Accurately count, receive and disburse cash; handle currency.
• Verify and balance cash drawer; maintain over/short records.
• Prepare forms for Bank Secrecy Act compliance.
• Acquire knowledge of compliance/regulatory issues (BSA, Reg CC, etc.).
• Maintain security procedures and respond appropriately in case of robbery.
• Provide exemplary customer service in person and by telephone; cross-sell products.
• Open new accounts and perform account maintenance requests.
• Participate in sales programs to generate new customers.
• Attend required training.
