Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking a dedicated registered nurse for the 7A Neurovascular Telemetry unit at Allegheny General Hospital. You will provide professional care during steady nights (7pm–7am) with rotating weekends/holidays per policy, and work within a 24-bed telemetry unit focused on neurological and neurovascular conditions.

The role requires PA RN licensure (or eNLC multi-state license) and a Bachelor’s in Nursing; BSN and 3 years’ experience are preferred, with opportunity for

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or equivalent experience.
• Current State of PA RN licensure or multi-state licensure via eNLC.
• Preferred: BSN.
• 3 years' clinical experience and/or supervisory experience.
• Certification in area of specialty is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees, monitors and collects data related to unit quality and satisfaction measures.
• Acts as the clinical expert and role model for staff; mentors performance and may supervise.
• Provides effective leadership and maintains professional relationships to achieve outcomes.
• Uses the nursing process to plan and deliver patient care.
• Ensures appropriate staffing levels and staffing mix to meet operations.
