Job summary

Allegheny Health Network’s Allegheny General Hospital seeks an experienced RN for 6C Telemetry. The role covers medical telemetry and step-down care with 72 hours every two weeks, steady nights 7pm to 7am, rotating weekends/holidays.

You will provide nursing care from admission to discharge, prioritizing patient safety and education. Candidates must hold PA RN license (or eNLC), clear background checks, CPR, and at least one year of RN experience.

Qualifications

• Current PA RN license or valid eNLC licensure.
• Act 34, Act 33, Act 73 background clearances required.
• CPR certification required.
• Minimum one year RN experience; night shift experience preferred.
• Unit-specific preferences for current night schedule on 6C Telemetry.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates clinical assessment skills and care planning.
• Provides safe and effective care for adults on telemetry and medical units.
• Directs and manages patient care delivery by the nursing team.
• Collaborates with the multidisciplinary team from admission through discharge.
• Assesses learning needs of patient and family and provides age-appropriate education.
