Job summary

Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center's Neurosurgical Medical-Surgical Unit (9T) seeks an experienced nurse leader to oversee direct patient care and assist the manager with daily operations. You will coordinate care, allocate resources, and support staff in a fast-paced, high-acuity neurosurgical environment.

The role requires BSN and RN licensure, plus at least two years of nursing experience with preferred management exposure.

Qualifications

• BSN required and RN licensure in appropriate state.
• Minimum two years nursing experience preferred; management experience preferred.
• BSN must be obtained or pursued if not already held within specified timeframe.
• Responsible for coordinating patient care, resources, and staff while complying with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care and outcomes with the manager.
• Assist in selection, development, and retention of staff; provide clinical supervision.
• Lead staffing and throughput decisions and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Engage in rounds with patients, families, physicians, and staff to assess care quality.
