Job summary

Atrium Health Greater Charlotte Ambulatory Nursing team seeks an experienced nursing leader to oversee patient care delivery and daily operations across our ambulatory network. You will coordinate care outcomes, allocate resources, and guide staff development with a focus on quality and service.

The role requires a BSN, active RN licensure, and prior management experience; compliance and continuous improvement are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current RN license in the appropriate state.
• BSN required.
• RN candidates hired externally or promoted internally who do not yet have a BSN must enroll in a BSN program within one year of the hire/transfer date and complete the program within three years of enrollment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and assist the manager with daily operations.
• Coordinate patient care/outcomes and allocate resources.
• Staff selection, development, retention and supervision, performance appraisal.
• Ensure performance improvement activities and service recovery with regulatory compliance.
• Maintain clinical competence appropriate to the patient population.
