Job summary

SOUTH FLORIDA NEUROSURGERY is seeking a Practice Manager/Assistant Manager to lead the on-site administrative and operational functions of the neurosurgery practice in West Palm Beach, Florida. You will oversee front office workflows, scheduling, registration, and checkout, while supervising non-clinical staff and coordinating staff schedules.

You’ll support revenue cycle activities, policy adherence, regulatory compliance, KPI monitoring, vendor relations, budgeting, and expense control.

Qualifications

• Experience in medical practice management or healthcare administration.
• Knowledge of patient scheduling, registration, and front office processes.
• Familiarity with medical billing and revenue cycle activities such as insurance verification, prior authorizations, claims follow-up, and collections.
• Proficiency with EHR and practice management systems, as well as MS Office.
• Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with patients, staff, physicians, and external partners.
• Commitment to patient confidentiality, regulatory compliance (e.g., HIPAA), and adherence to healthcare quality standards.
• Prior experience in a surgical or specialty practice, particularly neurosurgery or related fields, is preferred.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
