Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and provide clear instructions for the visit.
• Assist with administrative duties including scanning records and faxing.
• Guide patients through self-arrival technology or desk check-in options.
• Schedule follow-up appointments and connect patients to resources.
• Explain copayments and collect payments when applicable.
• Verify insurance benefits and promote MyUPMC portal.
• Maintain patient demographics and insurance information.
• Triage and direct calls to appropriate areas.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and obtain consent signatures as needed.
