Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Answers telephones, respond to questions, take messages or transfer calls as appropriate.
• Schedules appointments and referrals as needed.
• Performs patient check in, registration and insurance verification as directed.
• Handles cash/credit collections and the reconciliation process.
• Provides written patient education and discharge instructions.
• Assists patients with services ordered by the provider prior to leaving the practice.
• Maintains site quality control logs and ensures accuracy of specimen labeling.
• Monitors equipment and escalates non-functioning items to leadership.
• Measures and records vitals during visits.
