Qualifications

• Must have completed an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential for patient interaction.
• Proficient computer skills and EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patient for exams by recording vital signs and medical history.
• Assists physicians with procedures and administers routine medications as directed.
• Conducts basic lab procedures and specimen collection per protocols.
• Ensures accurate patient flow and documentation, consulting RN/MD as needed.
• Maintains patient safety and quality improvement initiatives within scope.
• Demonstrates age-appropriate care and effective teamwork.
