Job summary

Ascension Seton Williamson in Austin, TX is seeking an APRN or PA to join the Neurosurgery team. The role involves evaluating ED patients, managing admitted neurosurgical patients, seeing patients in outpatient clinics, and assisting in neurosurgical cases in the operating room.

• Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing before hire date.
• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing before hire date.
• BLS Provider certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross accepted).

As an APRN or PA with Ascension Seton Neurosurgery, you will evaluate emergency department patients, manage admitted neurosurgical patients in a hospital setting, see patients in outpatient clinic, and assist in neurosurgical cases in the operating room.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Drug Enforcement Admin credentialed from the Drug Enforcement Administration preferred.

Education

• Master's degree of Nursing required.
