Job summary

Ascension Seton is seeking a dedicated Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) Manager to provide clinical leadership and operational oversight for our Pediatric General Surgery & Trauma team across Austin, Texas. • Licensure/certification required: Texas NP/PA/CRNA or related licensure prior to hire date.
• Graduate of accredited nursing or PA program as applicable.
• 5 years of experience; 2+ years in leadership or management.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Required Credential(s):
  • One or more of the following:
    • Midwife credentialed from the Texas Midwifery Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. In states where it applies RN license must be held concurrent to Advanced Practice license.
    • Nurse Anesthetist credentialed from the National Board of Certification and Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
    • Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job
      transfer date.
    • Physician Assistant credentialed from the Texas Physician Assistant Board obtained prior to hire
      date or job transfer date.
• Preferred Credential(s):
  • BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA).

Education:

• Education appropriate for licensure held: Master's degree of Nursing, Master's or Doctorate of Nursing Anesthesia Practice, Doctorate of Science in Nursing, Master's or Doctorate of Science in Nursing Midwifery, Doctorate of Nursing Practice, Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program required.

Work Experience:

• 5 years of experience required.
• 10 years of experience preferred.
• 2 years of leadership or management experience required.
