Allina Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to support providers and nursing staff in delivering timely, high-quality patient care. Responsibilities include rooming patients, managing flow, EMR documentation, injections, and specimen processing.

Candidate should have completed a Medical Assistant program with a minimum externship or practicum, and may require BLS or CMA/RMA/NCMA certification. This role is 1.0 FTE on an 8-hour day shift with no weekend rotation.

Competenze

• Requires completion of Medical Assistant program or similar clinical training.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• BLS certification or CMA/RMA/NCMA certification preferred.

Mansioni

• Room patients and manage patient flow.
• Document vital signs and patient information in EMR.
• Assist with physician exam and provide psycho-emotional support.
• Assist with specimen collection and processing.
• Coordinate test results with providers and RN.
• Support front desk or patient registration as needed.
• Perform injections and assist with procedures.
• Educate patients about tests, labs and treatment plans.
