Qualifikationen

• AHA Basic Life Support certification required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; MA program preferred.
• Current CMA/RMA/CCMA/NCMA/CMAC certification required.
• Knowledge of OSHA, CLIA, and ADA required.
• Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding required.
• TB screening within 6 months of hire preferred.
• Knowledge of quality programs and standard work concepts within 6 months.
• Knowledge of standard clinical procedures and medical terminology.
• Knowledge of insurance plans and third-party payers.
• Basic math and accurate data entry skills.

Aufgaben

• Room patients and support providers during clinic visits.
• Manage patient messages, paperwork, and prior authorizations.
• Assist with both clinical and administrative duties.
• Rooming patients and completing intake.
• Assisting providers with patient care.
• Documenting in Cerner.
• Phlebotomy and point-of-care testing.
• Managing patient messages and scheduling.
• Processing prior authorizations and charting.
