Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Medical Assistant program preferred.
• Certification in CMA/RMA/CCMA/NCMA/CMAC preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA, CLIA, and ADA.
• Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding.
• Ability to perform basic math and accurate data entry.
• EMR/front office duties, scheduling, and patient flow.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and support providers during clinic visits.
• Manage patient messages, paperwork, and prior authorizations.
• Assist with both clinical and administrative duties.
• Rooming patients and completing intake.
• Assisting providers with patient care.
• Documenting in Cerner.
• Phlebotomy and point-of-care testing.
• Managing patient messages and processing prior authorizations.
• Scanning and maintaining medical records.
• Preparing exam rooms and supporting clinic workflow.
