Job summary

Riverside Medical Group in Newport News, Virginia, seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (PA/NP) to join our Neurosurgery team. You will provide outpatient consults, post-operative follow-up, and assist in the OR alongside the Neurosurgeon, contributing to an integrated, evidence-based care model.

Applicants should have an accredited program for APNs or PAs, Virginia APRN license or eligibility, and board certification or eligibility. Competitive salary and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Meet comprehensive and professional standards.
• Have a current, valid state of Virginia APRN license or be eligible for one.
• Be Board Certified or Board Eligible.
• Have a valid DEA controlled substance registration.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Collaborative approach with other physicians and providers.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient clinic focusing on new patient consults and post-operative follow-up.
• OR assist with the Neurosurgeon.
• Contribute to excellence in patient care and evidence-based practice as a key team member of Riverside Comprehensive Neurosurgical Program.
