Job summary

Northwest Indiana Health System announces an exciting opening for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Neurosurgeon in the Greater Chicagoland area. Join a physician-led group with a focus on high-volume neurosurgical care, advanced hospital infrastructure, and AI-enhanced documentation.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team across neurology, orthopedics, and critical care, with a robust support staff and a commitment to quality and safety in a HIMSS Stage VII environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited US medical school or international equivalent (MD or DO).
• Completed an ACGME-accredited Neurological Surgery residency; Board Certified or Board Eligible.
• Active and unrestricted Indiana medical license (or eligible for licensure within 90–120 days).

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive cranial and spine neurosurgical care in inpatient, outpatient, and surgical settings.
• Perform elective and emergent neurosurgical procedures and conduct patient workups.
• Participate in equitable neurosurgery call rotation and collaborate with neurology, orthopedics, and pain teams.
• Utilize advanced surgical technology and EPIC EHR with AI-assisted documentation.
